Blackjack Card Counting Made Easy

In a six deck Blackjack shoe their are 120 Aces and ten count cards, twenty per deck. If a player keeps track of just these cards, the counting is much easier. When there is a long period of time when these cards do not show up, the shoe becomes rich in high cards. This is a very favorable situation for the player. Players can stand on break hands when the dealer is showing a break hand and have the odds in their favor that the dealer will break. they can take every double down situation and never pass on the play. Ace splitting is a high percentage play and likely to win. It is even a better bet when the house is showing a break hand.

Most card counting systems have the counter keeping track of both the high cards and the low cards. That is a lot of work and makes the counter too obvious to the house. Cutting down the cards that need to be kept track of makes this system much easier to play, but not as favorable as a full scale counting operation. Shoes may take a long time to become favorable and not present as many playing opportunities. This may be good in some ways as players have a tendency to play small early in the shoe and heavier as the shoe is dissipated.
Another way to play this method is have one player count and another handle the betting.
The counter never changes the bet size by very much. the money player is at liberty to play
for whatever stakes the shoe is currently dictating. this method is also known as the bomber
method by card counters. A player stands around kibitzing the game and suddenly steps in
and places a sizable bet. This method cannot be played very long at the same table or
casino as the bomber will become too obvious. A team that moves from casino to casino,
playing the bomber method is not easily caught by the casino staff that watches for counters
at the Blackjack tables. A well disciplined team should be able to do very well over a
weekend of play. Over time such a team of players can have a very nice winning streak
without bringing attention to their play. Moving the play from one casino town to another is
another way to stay undiscovered.
