There has been a lot of confusion over the legal aspects of online gambling for many people since the UIGEA was passed back in 2006. Some of these companies have settled for millions of dollars to the US government. Keep in mind that it is riskier because of the withdrawal options and you have little recourse should an online casino simply decide not to pay you.
